CONCRETE COOPRESSIVE STRENGHT CHARACTERISTIC
CONCRETE COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH CHARACTERISTIC
Axial Extensometer (Compressometer)
Axial extensometer is designed for the determination of the modulus of elasticity in compression of mortar, cement, concrete, rock and other materials.

Test Samples
Test specimens after testing still equipped with the extensometric cage. Laboratory tests are performed to evaluate the durability and performance of epoxy resins; often used to re-evaluate all or part of the epoxy resins after testing

Air Meter
Checking the air content of concrete elements with an air meter.

Compressive strength test
Compressive strength test on cube of concrete. A compression strength test is a mechanical test that measures the maximum compressive load that a material can withstand before cracking. Usually the test piece is in cube, prism or cylindrical form and is applied between the plates of a compression testing machine.
Concrete's crushing strength, or cube strength, is about 3 tons per square inch, while granite is around 10 tons per square inch, and cast iron ranges from 25 to 60 tons per square inch.

Concrete pipe machine testing
Concrete pipe testing machines are equipped with a hydraulic power pack and a load cell. These machines have a frame consisting of two rigid columns and a carrier frame. The double-acting actuator in the upper beam is supported by an anti-rotation system to prevent rotation tendency.

Strength of concrete
The strength of concrete is the most important indicator that determines the properties and performance qualities of concrete and reinforced concrete structures.

Installation of test piece and cage on the machine.
Once the test is completed, the spacers are put back in place and the specimen and cage assembly removed from. Specimens after testing still equipped with the extensometric cage

Reinforcement with Composite Material
Reinforcement of concrete with composite materials. Composite materials are used to strengthen concrete for both shear and flexure. This method is aimed at improving the mechanical behavior of concrete elements.

STRENGTH OF CONCRETE
TO ANALYSE THE COMPRESSION STRENGTH OF CONCRETE BY PARTIAL REPLACEMENT OF CEMENT WITH FLY ASH.

Concrete Compression Testing
A lightweight/low-strength (~80 pounds per cubic foot) concrete test cylinder under compression testing. An linearly increasing load is being applied by the top and bottom plates of the machine, at the time of the photo the applied load was around 25,000 lbs. The devices attached to the cylinder measure the contraction of length of the sample in the direction of load. The rust colored material is a sulfur cap used to ensure flat ends.

Specimens during the compression test
Concrete pipe test values verify the minimum pressure values of the pipe. In the negative air pressure method test, both ends of the pipe are blocked and the air inside is pressurized to -3.5 psig (pounds per square inch).

Chemical additive for concrete,
thanks to superplasticizers, you can use up to 30% less water and up to 10-15% less cement without changing the grade strength of concrete.
